TONIGHT WAS SO FUN! A huge thank you to @ourwestbayfront and @preservationerie for making this bike tour happen and to @cbaran5 at the @eriecountypubliclibrary for pulling off an amazing first histERIE week!

Hey hey! You guys know about histERIE Week already at this point, right? Well, there are only two spots left in my one-on-one house history research workshops and registration for the architectural bike tour of the West Bayfront with @ourwestbayfront and @preservationerie is open now!
On Mother's Day, our family headed to the Erie Art Museum for their Second Sunday program that we love so much (in particular this month's, as it was hosted by the ever-radiant @smkm___ of @1020_collective).
This 1928 bungalow on East 34th Street was my childhood home. I have strong memories of the neighborhood: playing in Baker’s Field behind my backyard, walking to Jefferson School playground with my cousins and neighborhood friends, hosting our annual “Don’t Let the End of Summer Be A Bummer” picnics in the huge backyard (which was essentially an entire un-built lot), riding my bike past the mansions of Glenwood Hills nearby, venturing into the woods by Mill Creek off Eliot Road...
My story in the April issue of the @eriereader is all about Girard's citizen-led Main Street Revitalization, how they've gotten themselves on the road to recovery, and the stories of the people who have really put in a lot of time and investment because they truly care about their town.
